Can infants get fever blisters?

My baby has developed some small, fluid-filled blisters around her mouth. I'm worried it might be fever blisters. Can infants even get fever blisters at such a young age?

Yes, little ones can definitely get them! 🌸 It looks very painful but they recover quickly. Just make sure family members don't kiss the baby, especially if they have cold sores themselves. Stay positive! 👍

Yes, babies can get them, and it is usually the herpes simplex virus. Instead of trying expensive over-the-counter creams that might not be safe for infants, just pay for a quick consult with a government hospital pediatrician. It will save you a lot of money and get you the right prescription.

In our days, we saw this quite often when relatives would kiss the newborns. Yes, they get it, and it can make them very cranky because of the pain. Just feed them cool milk or formula, keep them hydrated, and it will pass in a week or two.

Oh, I totally get it, seeing those painful blisters on your tiny baby can be so heartbreaking. Yes, infants do get fever blisters, and it makes them so miserable. Just keep them as comfortable as you can and seek a doctor's advice on safe pain relief.

Hey, don't stress too much, okay? Yes, babies can get fever blisters, but it is super common and totally treatable. Just make sure you don't pop them or apply any strong adult creams. A quick chat with your doc will sort it out in no time!

Yes, they can, and honestly, it was the most stressful week of my life when my baby got them. I felt so guilty and cried watching my little one struggle to feed. Please know you are not a bad parent; it spreads very easily and your baby will get through this.
