Can indigestion cause vomiting?

After eating something spicy, I often feel very nauseous. Last time, I actually vomited, which was quite unpleasant. Is it possible for just indigestion to make you throw up like that?

Yes, when the digestive fire is weak, the stomach rejects the food, leading to nausea or vomiting. Practice Vajrasana after light meals to improve digestion naturally.

I threw up twice today after a heavy lunch. Is it normal for indigestion to make you vomit, or should I be worried about food poisoning? Please help.

My grandmother always suggests ginger tea for vomiting sensations, which works well. But if the vomiting is continuous and you cannot keep liquids down, please visit a doctor to avoid dehydration.

Does anyone else get severe nausea and throw up whenever they eat outside food? I get so anxious that it might be some serious infection, please share if this happens to you too.

Yes, severe acid reflux or indigestion can trigger vomiting. Sipping cold water or lemon juice slowly helps calm the stomach.
