Can ibuprofen help abdominal pain?

I've been having some crampy abdominal pain since morning. I usually take ibuprofen for headaches. Can ibuprofen be effective in relieving this kind of stomach pain?

Arre, ibuprofen might actually make your stomach go on strike! It can irritate the lining, so if it's a normal stomach ache, stay away from it. Try some simple pudina or hing water instead of making it worse.

I totally get it, stomach pain can be so annoying and you just want quick relief. But honestly, ibuprofen is known to cause acidity and stomach irritation for many. It might actually increase your abdominal discomfort instead of helping.

My health app actually flags NSAIDs like ibuprofen for abdominal issues because they can mess with your gut lining. If it's a cramp or spasm, there are better targeted options. Track your diet and see if it's just gas first.

When you have a busy workday, you just want the pain gone, but ibuprofen is a bad idea for stomach pain as it increases acidity. Take a quick break, drink warm water, and if it doesn't settle down, consult a doc before taking random pills.

True, ibuprofen usually isn't recommended for general stomach ache. Better to use a specific antispasmodic prescribed by your doctor or try some warm water first.
