Can ibuprofen harm your liver?

I take ibuprofen for my headaches sometimes. My neighbor recently had liver issues and told me to be careful with all medicines. Can ibuprofen actually cause harm to the liver?

Oye, don't worry, your liver isn't going to melt from taking one pill! Just don't swallow them like candies during every small headache. Eat something before taking it, and your stomach and liver will both stay happy.

Actually, ibuprofen is processed more by your kidneys, while paracetamol affects the liver. Still, taking too much of any painkiller without checking can be risky. Better to talk to a proper doctor instead of self-medicating too often.

Haan yaar, normal limits me lo to kuch nahi hota, but daily khaoge tab to body pe load padega na. Mere doc ne bola tha painkiller hamesha kam se kam hi leni chahiye. Agar zyada issue hai toh checkup karva lo.

Hey! Ibuprofen is generally quite safe if you follow the correct dosage on the pack. Just make sure you do not take it on an empty stomach! Drink lots of water too, it helps. 😊

Listen, don't stress too much about this. If you are just taking it once in a while for a headache or muscle pain, your liver is absolutely fine. Just don't make it a daily habit without asking a doctor, okay?
