Can i use orajel for wisdom tooth pain?

My wisdom tooth is erupting, and the pain is quite intense right now. I heard that Orajel can help numb the area for a bit. Can I use Orajel specifically for wisdom tooth pain to get some relief?

Orajel only numbs the surface for like 15 minutes, yaar. If it's actual wisdom tooth pain, it won't help much because the pain is deep in the bone. Better to visit a dentist and get an X-ray done.

Wisdom tooth pain can sometimes trigger swelling and affect your general health. Since I have thyroid issues, I always make sure to consult my doctor before using any strong numbing gels like Orajel. A proper dental follow-up is much safer.

My grandmother always tells me to keep a clove near the wisdom tooth to reduce the pain. But for a permanent solution, please see a dentist. Orajel is just a temporary relief and won't cure the underlying infection.

You can use it for temporary relief, but be careful not to swallow the gel. Also, try to eat only soft, simple vegetarian food like khichdi or curd rice while your tooth is hurting to avoid irritating the area further.

You can use Orajel for quick numbing, but track how often you need it. If the pain persists for more than two days, your wisdom tooth might be impacted. Better to book a dental slot through your health app soon.

My dentist explained that Orajel only works on the surface gums, whereas wisdom tooth pain usually originates from deep within the bone or nerve. He advised against relying on it for more than a couple of days as it can mask a severe infection.

Yes, you can use Orajel to temporarily numb the pain, but it won't cure the wisdom tooth issue. You need to see a dentist.

Beta, these modern gels only provide temporary relief for a few minutes. If the wisdom tooth is giving you trouble, rinse your mouth with warm salt water three times a day. If the pain continues, please show it to a proper dentist.

I know how unbearable wisdom tooth pain can get! Orajel is okay for temporary relief, but applying a little clove oil or a warm compress on your cheek helps much better and lasts longer. Definitely see a dentist if it swells up.

Orajel is fine for a short-term solution, but don't skip your active routine because of it. Keep doing light exercise or walking to keep blood circulation good, and make sure to get the tooth checked before it gets infected.

As a diabetic, I have to be very careful with dental infections because they can affect my sugar levels. Orajel is fine for a quick fix, but please don't ignore wisdom tooth pain. Get it checked by a dentist to prevent any spreading infection.

I panicked so much when my wisdom tooth started hurting, thinking I'd need immediate emergency surgery. Orajel helped me sleep that night, and the dentist later told me it was just a mild eruption pain that settled on its own. Don't worry too much!
