Can i take tylenol for stomach pain?

Lately, I've been getting stomach aches quite often, especially after eating outside. Someone suggested taking Tylenol for pain relief. Is it safe for stomach pain, or is it mostly for other kinds of aches?

Please don't just take pain pills to ignore the pain. I once kept popping paracetamol for what I thought was normal stomach pain, and it turned out to be an ulcer that got worse. Please visit a clinic and get it checked by a professional.

I actually had severe stomach pain last week and thought of taking Tylenol, but my doctor told me it won't help with gastric or intestinal cramps. He prescribed a specific antispasmodic instead, which worked instantly.

Haan na, stomach pain is so irritating and makes you feel so restless. But taking Tylenol might not actually help if it is a gastric issue, na. Best to ask your doctor before taking any tablets.

Before you spend money buying various pain medicines that might not even work, it is more economical to get a basic consultation from a local doctor. A proper checkup now can save you from expensive diagnostic tests later if the issue gets worse.

Stomach pain can range from mild indigestion to serious underlying medical issues. Taking painkillers can sometimes mask the real symptoms, making it harder to diagnose. It is always safest to consult a doctor first.

I was just reading about this online because I have mild stomach ache too. Apparently, acetaminophen isn't very effective for gut-related pain and can sometimes even irritate the stomach if taken empty. Let me know if you find a better remedy!

Oh no, did some spicy street food get to you? I know the struggle, but don't just pop a Tylenol because it won't help with bloating or acidity. Try drinking some cold milk or coconut water, and see a doctor if it doesn't settle.

Please be very careful. I once took pain relievers for a severe stomach ache which turned out to be an inflamed gallbladder, and delaying my doctor visit made things much more complicated. Please get evaluated by a professional immediately.

Beta, for stomach troubles, we should not immediately rush to take English medicines. Try taking a spoonful of carom seeds with warm water, or some buttermilk with hing. If the pain is very sharp, please visit your family doctor.

According to my physician, paracetamol is processed by the liver and doesn't target the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. For stomach cramps, specific medications like dicyclomine are usually prescribed, so please check with your doctor.

I understand your pain. It's usually better to avoid Tylenol for stomach issues and consult a doctor.

My son had a terrible stomach ache last month, and I almost gave him a pain reliever, but our pediatrician stopped me. She said stomach issues need to be diagnosed properly first. Please take care and get a professional opinion.
