Can i take flomax twice a day for kidney stones?

I totally panicked when my stone didn't pass in three days and wanted to take Flomax twice a day too. But my doctor reassured me that these things take time, and a single daily dose is the standard safe limit.

I literally just passed a 6mm stone last month and was on Flomax. My doctor strictly told me once a day is enough, and warned that taking more won't speed it up but will just make me super lightheaded.

Please be gentle with your body. Do not double such strong medications on your own; instead, focus on drinking plenty of warm water and consulting your physician for the right dosage.
