Can i take 100mg of diphenhydramine for sleep?

I'm struggling with insomnia and need something to help me get a good night's rest. I have some diphenhydramine at home. Can I take 100mg of diphenhydramine for sleep, or what is the recommended dosage?

Please don't take that much, 100mg is quite high and can make you feel very uneasy. I hope you get some peaceful rest tonight naturally.

Haan na, 100mg is too heavy, please don't take it. Normal dose only works best, otherwise pure din dimaag bhaari rahega. Safely use low dose or ask doc.

According to most health guidelines, the standard adult dose is 25mg to 50mg. Taking 100mg can actually disrupt your deep sleep cycles and make you restless. Try tracking your sleep hygiene instead of double-dosing.

I can only share that when I took 50mg once, I woke up with an extremely dry mouth and a bad headache. I would never dare to take 100mg myself.

My son had severe sleep issues during his exams and wanted to take these pills. We went to the doctor and she strictly warned against anything above 50mg. Please be careful with this dosage.

Oh dear, 100mg is way too much for a good night's sleep! Try a warm cup of chamomile tea instead, it works wonders without any groggy morning feelings.
