Can i so an orange cleanse with a fatty liver?

My doctor recently diagnosed me with a fatty liver. I've seen some online posts about doing an 'orange cleanse' to detox the liver. Would this kind of cleanse be a good idea for someone with a fatty liver, or could it cause more problems?

Please avoid extreme cleanses. An orange cleanse is high in fructose which can actually load your liver even more; instead focus on a balanced vegetarian diet with leafy greens and whole grains.

Ghar pe haldi aur methi daana ka paani peena fatty liver ke liye accha hai, par khali santre par rehna theek nahi hai. Agar pet mein dard ya koi pareshani ho toh seedhe doctor ko dikhayein.

There is no such thing as an 'orange cleanse' for fatty liver. The best way to reverse fatty liver is a caloric deficit, avoiding sugar and alcohol, and doing regular strength training.

I get very anxious about liver health too, but please don't do this. Drinking too much citrus juice might upset your stomach and stress your liver. It is better to get a proper liver function test first.

Fatty liver is a clinical condition and should not be treated with random internet cleanses. Please consult a gastroenterologist and get an ultrasound done to check the actual grade of fatty liver.

With thyroid and metabolic issues, fatty liver is common, but cleanses can mess up your metabolism. Stick to a low-carb lifestyle, get regular blood tests, and follow your doctor's advice strictly.

I tried a juice cleanse once for my liver and my liver enzymes actually shot up. Don't make my mistake; get proper medical guidance and avoid any extreme diets that can cause complications.
