Can hypoglycemia cause fever?

Been having these episodes lately where my sugar drops really low. Then, ekdum se, I feel feverish and weak. Is it possible that low blood sugar can actually cause a fever, or should I be looking for something else?

Beta, hypoglycemia usually makes you feel cold, sweaty, and weak rather than giving you a fever. If there is a fever, it might be due to some underlying infection that is also messing up your sugar levels. For now, drink some warm water or light tulsi tea, but please consult a proper doctor to check the exact cause.

Honestly, I have dealt with sugar drops so many times and I usually get the shivers, not a fever. When my sugar goes low, I quickly have a spoonful of honey or some fruit juice which fixes the shakiness. But if you actually have a high temperature, it might be some other infection, so don't ignore it and get it checked.

According to my glucose monitor logs, low blood sugar makes my heart rate spike and gives me cold sweats, but never an actual fever. If your tracker or thermometer is showing a high body temperature, it is likely an infection or something else triggering both issues. You should definitely log your readings and show them to a doc.

Whenever my sugar drops, I just look for an excuse to eat some sweet jalebi or juice to feel better! But I've never gotten a fever from it, just major food cravings and a bit of sweating. If you are burning up with a real fever, it's best to skip the kitchen experiments and consult a doctor.

I always monitor my body reactions during my morning walks and workouts, and hypoglycemia usually makes me feel dizzy and drained, not feverish. If you have an active fever, please avoid any physical exertion or walks right now. Just rest up and get a medical opinion to find out what is really going on.

Dekho yaar, low sugar se thand lag sakti hai aur kapkapi hoti hai, par fever aana normal nahi hai. Don't confuse the two things. Agar badan bohot garam hai toh doctor ke paas jao aur check karwao ki koi infection toh nahi hai.
