Can hypertension cause heart attack?

My doctor has been telling me to control my high blood pressure more strictly. My neighbour recently had a heart attack, which has made me very scared. Can hypertension directly lead to a heart attack if it's not well-controlled?

Yes, chronic high blood pressure can strain your heart and increase this risk. Please make sure to take your medications regularly and keep your mind calm.

I know how scary these health risks sound, but managing your BP really reduces the risk. It is best to work closely with a doctor to keep your heart healthy and safe. Take care of yourself.

My cardiologist at Fortis Hospital always warns me that uncontrolled hypertension is a major risk factor for heart attacks. You should get a proper cardiovascular checkup done. Ask your doctor clearly about how to manage your levels safely.

I ignored my high blood pressure for years until I had a mild heart attack last year. It was a huge wake-up call for me to take my medicine daily and change my lifestyle. Please don't ignore your BP levels like I did.

Actually yaar, high BP puts a lot of pressure on your arteries, which can eventually lead to a heart attack. It is seriously no joke. Please get it checked by a doctor and don't skip your medications.
