Can hrt cause kidney problems?

Starting Hormone Replacement Therapy has been on my mind for my menopause symptoms, as suggested by my doctor. However, my sister recently had some kidney issues, and it made me think. Can HRT potentially cause or worsen kidney problems?

Honestly, any big hormonal shift or therapy can affect how your body processes water and waste, which impacts the kidneys. If your doctor gives you the green light, regular light walking or active stretching is amazing for maintaining healthy circulation. Just don't push too hard before checking your renal panels first.

Man, my sleep is so messed up I can barely process this, but I'm pretty sure any heavy medication can stress the kidneys if you aren't flushing it out. Seriously, drink loads of water and ask your specialist before you lose sleep over it like me.

Haan, risks toh hote hain hormone therapy ke saath, especially agar body react kare na. Isliye self-medication toh bilkul mat karna, doctor se consult karke test karwate raho. Sab set ho jayega tension mat lo.

My doctor actually explained this when my aunt was starting HRT. Usually, it doesn't directly cause kidney failure, but if you have pre-existing issues like high BP, it can put extra load on them. They always run kidney function tests first to be totally safe.

Please don't worry too much and keep a positive mind. Just make sure to keep a close eye on your body's signals and stay hydrated throughout the day. Take care of your health and let the doctor run the proper checks so you can stay peaceful.

My daughter had to undergo hormonal treatment for her development issues, and we were so scared about her kidney health too. We made sure to do regular blood and urine tests every three months just to be absolutely sure. It's always better to monitor closely with a pediatrician or specialist.

While you are on HRT, keeping your diet clean is super important to reduce the load on your kidneys. Avoid eating too many heavily salted snacks or high-protein processed foods. Simple homemade veg food and drinking enough warm water really helps the body cope.
