Can hpv cause vulvar cancer?

My gynaecologist suggested I get regular check-ups because of some HPV exposure years ago. I've been trying to educate myself on all the associated risks. Can HPV also be a cause for vulvar cancer, or is it mainly linked to cervical issues?

While keeping clean and using simple home remedies like neem water can help with minor itching, HPV is a serious virus that can indeed lead to vulvar issues. Please make sure to consult a proper lady doctor for this.

I have been awake all night doomscrolling about HPV and cancer, and yes, apparently there is a link. Save your sleep and just book a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning instead of worrying at 3 AM.

Yes, it is a known cause. Getting regular checkups and the HPV vaccine if eligible is the best protection.

I totally panicked when my doctor mentioned HPV, thinking the worst immediately. But she reassured me that while it can cause vulvar cancer, it is rare and regular monitoring keeps you completely safe.

My gynecologist explained that high-risk HPV strains are responsible for a significant percentage of vulvar cancers. She emphasized that any unusual itching, skin changes, or lumps should be evaluated promptly.

Don't fall for online forums telling you that herbal washes can cure HPV or prevent cancer. Go to a proper hospital and get a clinical diagnosis done by a medical professional.

Yes, it can, though vulvar cancer is much less common than cervical cancer. Just be aware of your body, note any persistent changes, and consult a doctor for a physical exam.
