Can high triglycerides lead to diabetes?

My doctor told me my triglyceride levels are quite elevated. My parents both have diabetes, so I'm worried if this means I might develop it too.

Yes, high triglycerides are heavily linked to insulin resistance, which is a major stepping stone to Type 2 diabetes. I regularly track my fasting glucose and lipids on my app to ensure my metabolic health is on point. Definitely monitor both parameters to prevent issues later.

Haan, bilkul link hai inme. Jab triglycerides high hote hain na, toh vo insulin sensitivity ko kam kar dete hain jo aage chal kar diabetes ban sakti hai. Ek baar achhe doctor se consult karke lifestyle thik kar lo, stress mat lena.

My husband had high triglycerides and his doctor warned us that he was on the verge of developing diabetes. We immediately changed his diet, cut out sweets and maida, and started sending him for morning walks. Getting ahead of it early is the best way to protect your family.

Don't fall for random home remedies or detox juices online claiming to cure triglycerides or prevent diabetes. These are complex metabolic issues. Go to an endocrinologist, get a proper blood test, and follow their clinical guidance strictly.
