Can high pressure cause vomiting?

My BP has been on the higher side lately, and sometimes I feel quite nauseous, almost to the point of vomiting. Can high blood pressure actually be a direct cause of vomiting? Just trying to understand if these are linked.

Yes, sudden high blood pressure can absolutely make you feel nauseous or vomit! 😟 If this is happening, please rest immediately and don't panic. Keep a BP monitor handy and get in touch with your doctor right away.

Vomiting associated with high blood pressure can be a sign of a hypertensive crisis, which is very dangerous. If you or someone else has very high BP along with vomiting, severe headache, or chest pain, please go to the hospital emergency department immediately.

In our family, we usually give ginger-lemon tea for vomiting, but when my husband's blood pressure shot up and he started throwing up, we didn't try home remedies. We immediately took him to the clinic. Please trust the doctors and get a proper checkup.

I track my vitals on my smartwatch, and whenever my BP spikes due to stress, I feel highly nauseous. Vomiting is a clear signal that your body is under extreme stress. Check your BP using a digital cuff and contact your physician immediately.

Actually yaar, high BP can cause severe dizziness and nausea, which leads to vomiting. It happened to my dad once and we got so scared. Don't take it lightly, just get a doctor to check him out and prescribe the right dosage of medication.
