Can high fever cause miscarriage?

I'm in my first trimester and recently had a pretty high fever for a couple of days. I'm extremely worried now. Can a high fever actually cause a miscarriage in early pregnancy?

Yes, a very high fever during early pregnancy can be risky for the baby. I remember my wife's doctor being very strict about keeping her temperature down. Skip the internet searches and call your gynecologist immediately.
