Can high blood pressure cause nausea vomiting?

Lately, I've been feeling nauseous quite often, and sometimes it leads to vomiting. I also have high blood pressure that I'm trying to manage. Could high blood pressure be causing this nausea and vomiting?

Oh, absolutely. Last month my BP shot up to 160 and I felt like I was on a bad roller coaster ride with severe nausea. Our bodies are like old scooters now, one wire goes loose and everything starts vibrating. Get it checked!

Yes, high pressure in the body can disturb your stomach and cause nausea. Sip some warm ginger or mint tea to soothe the stomach, but keep a close eye on your pressure readings. If it doesn't settle down, see your family doctor.

Please be very careful. Sudden high BP with vomiting can be a sign of a hypertensive crisis, which happened to me last year. Don't sit at home thinking it's just gas; go to a clinic immediately and get your BP measured.

Yes, it can. If your blood pressure spikes suddenly, nausea and vomiting are classic warning signs. Skip the self-medication for an upset stomach and go check your BP first.

I know how terrifying this feels, especially when you start feeling sick and vomiting out of nowhere. I used to panic constantly thinking it's a major attack. Take a few deep breaths, check your BP, and call your doctor to calm your mind.

Don't go trying random home remedies for vomiting if your BP is high. People on the internet will tell you to eat lemon or honey, but a sudden spike causing vomiting can be serious. Get a proper professional medical opinion.

My doctor at Apollo told me that a rapid rise in blood pressure can increase intracranial pressure, leading to nausea. You should definitely visit your doctor and get your medication dosage adjusted if this is happening often.
