Can herpes cause cancer?

I heard a rumour that certain viruses can increase the risk of cancer. I have herpes, and it got me thinking. Can herpes cause cancer in the long run, or is that just a misconception?

From what I have read and discussed with doctors, common herpes simplex doesn't cause cancer. Try not to stress your mind, as anxiety lowers our body's natural immunity. Doing some daily deep breathing can help keep your mind calm while you get facts from a professional.

Don't panic! When my daughter got diagnosed with herpes labialis (cold sores), I got super scared and googled all sorts of crazy things. Our doctor clearly told us that regular herpes doesn't cause cancer. Just keep the area clean and follow the doctor's cream prescription.

Please don't worry, the short answer is no. Herpes virus doesn't cause cancer. Try to take rest and talk to a local doctor so they can reassure you and guide you properly.

Hey there! No need to worry so much. Regular herpes simplex does not lead to cancer at all. Take a deep breath and relax, you are going to be absolutely fine! Just have a quick chat with your doctor to clear your mind.

Honestly, people mix up HPV and Herpes all the time. HPV is linked to certain cancers, but the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1 or HSV-2) which causes cold sores and genital sores does not cause cancer. Ask a proper doctor instead of worrying about internet rumors.
