Can hepatitis cause cancer?

My uncle passed away from liver cancer and he had a history of hepatitis. I'm wondering if there's a direct link, or if it was just a coincidence. Does hepatitis generally increase the risk of cancer?

Bhaiyya, chinta mat karo par isko halke mein bhi mat lena. Agar purani bimaari ho toh liver kharab hone ka darr rehta hai. Aap bade shehar ke acche doctor ko dikha lo, samay par dawai lene se sab thik rehta hai.

Chronic hepatitis B or C can increase the risk of liver cancer if left untreated for years. Just like managing my blood sugar, managing liver health requires strict discipline, proper diet, and regular medical checkups. Consult your doctor for appropriate antiviral treatment to protect your liver.

It can sound terrifying to hear words like cancer, but please stay calm. Chronic hepatitis can lead to complications if ignored, but with early treatment, the risk is vastly reduced. We got our child treated under a good pediatric hepatologist and everything is under control.

Long-term hepatitis B or C is one of the leading causes of liver cancer, so keeping an eye on your liver health is critical. I use health trackers to log my annual diagnostic tests and keep my reports organized. Definitely see a specialist to get your viral load and liver scans checked.

Yes, chronic hepatitis infections can lead to liver cirrhosis, which significantly increases cancer risk. However, this usually takes decades to develop and can be prevented with modern medical treatment. Please consult a qualified gastroenterologist to understand your risk and treatment options.

My elders always said that a healthy liver is the key to long life and we should avoid ignoring any infection. While there is a risk of cancer with untreated chronic hepatitis, modern doctors can prevent it easily. Please trust your doctor and follow their advice without any delay.

I was diagnosed with chronic Hep C and was scared of liver cancer too. But my doctor assured me that clearing the virus with modern antivirals reduces the risk significantly. I finished my therapy recently and my liver is doing great now, so please get treated early.

I am so sorry if you are dealing with this worry. I didn't know hepatitis could lead to such serious issues like cancer. Does this happen to everyone who gets the virus, or is it only if they don't take medicines on time?
