I am just starting to learn about this and it sounds a bit frightening. Does this liver damage happen very quickly, or does it take many years to develop?

Yes, it definitely can if left untreated for a long time. My liver has enough work dealing with my age and tea addiction, so keeping it safe with early treatment is highly recommended.

Yes, chronic Hepatitis C is one of the leading causes of liver cirrhosis. However, because highly effective cure therapies exist today, you can avoid this entirely by getting diagnosed and treated early.

Yes, it can cause cirrhosis over time. Just like how uncontrolled blood sugar damages organs, untreated Hep C damages the liver, so regular checkups and timely medical treatment are absolutely necessary.

Yes, chronic Hep C can eventually lead to cirrhosis, but don't panic. It usually takes decades to develop, and modern antiviral medicines can cure the infection and prevent this from happening.

Yes, it can cause cirrhosis, which is pretty serious. Honestly, I am too tired to read up more tonight, but please don't delay seeing a doctor for proper guidance.
