Can hepatitis be spread?

My sister was diagnosed with Hepatitis a few months back. We are all living in the same house and are extra careful. How exactly can Hepatitis be spread among family members?

Haan babuji, yeh phel sakta hai par darna nahi chahiye. Agar hum saaf-safai rakhein, bahar ka khula khana na khayein aur doctor se vaccine lagwayein, toh bilkul surakshit reh sakte hain.

Haan, bilkul spread ho sakta hai, lekin har type ka alag tarika hota hai. Jaise Hep A dirty food aur water se phelta hai, aur Hep B blood contact se. Toh thoda dhyan rakhna padta hai, samjhe na?

Yes, it spreads, but it is highly preventable. Hep A/E are waterborne, so watch what you eat and drink. Hep B/C are bloodborne, so avoid sharing personal grooming items and get your vaccines done.

Yes, it can spread, so we must be careful with our hygiene. Eating fresh, home-cooked food is very important to prevent Hep A. For Hep B, please make sure everyone in the family gets their vaccine injections from a doctor.

Yes, it spreads through contaminated food/water (for A and E) or blood/body fluids (for B and C). Getting vaccinated is the best way to stay safe.

I recently recovered from acute Hep B, and yes, it spreads through blood and body fluids. My doctor advised my family to get tested and vaccinated immediately, which kept all of them completely safe from catching it from me.

Yes, it spreads, but don't worry, it won't jump on you from the air! Just wash your hands before eating your mom's parathas and don't share razors. Simple hygiene keeps the virus far away.
