In my experience, keeping your immunity high with yoga and clean living is wonderful. Regarding the virus, it is not easily spread through saliva in normal social sharing, so let go of your fear.
It doesn't spread through casual sharing of cups, but if you have doubts, getting a quick blood panel done is best. I get my thyroid and general panels checked every six months just to be safe.
I was actually reading a health blog about this yesterday. It turns out saliva has a very low concentration of the virus, so transmission this way is extremely rare unless there's an open wound.
While the Hepatitis B virus can be detected in saliva, it is not transmitted through casual contact like kissing on the cheek or sharing food. Consult a physician if you have experienced blood-to-blood exposure.
Thankfully, you won't get it just by talking to someone or sharing a plate of food. If saliva was that dangerous, half of India would have it by now! Relax, it's safe.
