Can hemorrhoids cause lower back pain?

My lower back has been aching constantly, and I also have issues with hemorrhoids. I'm trying to figure out if these two pains are connected. Can hemorrhoids cause lower back pain?

If you have piles, you might be sitting awkwardly to avoid the pain, which absolutely wrecks your posture and causes lower back strain. Try to keep moving, don't sit on hard surfaces, and maintain a high-fiber diet to avoid straining. Make sure to consult a doctor if the back pain doesn't improve.

Yes, the pressure from severe hemorrhoids can sometimes feel like it's radiating to your lower back. Please visit a doctor to get a clear diagnosis.

When my hemorrhoids flare up, I often feel a radiating ache in my tailbone and lower back area. I can't say if they are directly linked medically, but in my experience, resolving the constipation always helps relieve the back discomfort. A doctor's visit is always the safest bet.

I recently recovered from piles and definitely experienced a dull lower back ache during the worst days of constipation. Sitz baths and drinking lots of water helped reduce the overall pressure. Please consult your physician to ensure it's not a spinal issue.

I had really bad external piles last month and my lower back was constantly aching because of the pelvic pressure and sitting in weird angles. Once the piles swelling went down with doctor's meds, the back pain vanished too. Just go see a doc, it's the easiest way to solve it.
