Can heat stroke make you throw up?

I had a friend who got really sick after prolonged sun exposure and kept throwing up. I'm wondering, can heat stroke make you throw up like that?

Yes, throwing up is a major warning sign of heat exhaustion turning into heat stroke. If you or someone else is unable to keep fluids down and is constantly vomiting in the heat, please do not wait. Go to the nearest clinic or hospital immediately for proper medical attention.

I was actually reading about this today because my friend felt extremely nauseous after our afternoon trip. Apparently, when the body overheats, it affects the nervous system and triggers a vomiting reflex. It is so scary how fast the sun can affect us!

I actually had this last week after spending hours outdoors. I felt dizzy first, and then suddenly started throwing up repeatedly. It took me two whole days of complete rest and drinking ORS to feel normal again. Please stay indoors during peak hours.

Vomiting is a classic symptom of heat-induced illness because the body struggles to maintain its internal balance. When my father had a mild sunstroke, the hospital staff strictly advised us against force-feeding and focused on IV hydration instead. You must consult your doctor clearly to avoid severe dehydration.

Haan beta, dhoop lagne se ulti bilkul hoti hai, shareer ka sab pani sukh jata hai. Thoda nimbu pani mein namak chini milakar dheere dheere pilao. Aur unhe pankhe ke neeche thandi jagah par lita do, aaram milega.

I ignored the nausea and vomiting after being out in the sun once, and ended up severely dehydrated with a very high fever. It turned into a complicated heat stroke and I had to be hospitalized for two days. Please see a doctor if the throwing up doesn't stop.

I didn't know that throwing up could be caused by the sun, I thought it was just food poisoning. Is it safe to give them normal water to drink right after they throw up, or will it make them vomit again?
