Can heart attack symptoms last for days?

I've been feeling quite unwell lately, with some unusual fatigue and discomfort in my chest on and off. Can heart attack symptoms, not just the pain, actually last for several days without going away?

Being a diabetic, my doctor always warns me that our symptoms can be very silent or unusual, sometimes lingering as mild discomfort for days. Since diabetes can mask severe chest pain, any continuous heaviness or unusual fatigue shouldn't be ignored. Please get your heart checked by a specialist.

In my experience, actual heart attacks don't wait for days, but the warning signs like angina certainly can come and go for a week before. I ignored my mild jaw ache and sweating for two days before my major scare. Get an ECG done immediately; it takes only ten minutes and can save your life.

While a clean vegetarian diet and low cholesterol help keep the heart healthy, they don't make us immune to sudden issues. If you are experiencing strange chest discomfort, breathlessness, or heavy sweating that is lingering, food adjustments won't help right now. Please seek emergency medical care.

Please do not rely on random online forums to decide if your chest symptoms are a heart attack or just gas. An actual cardiac event is a medical emergency, and even warning symptoms lasting days need professional evaluation. Go to a reputed hospital and consult a real cardiologist.

If you had a real heart attack lasting for days, you'd be a medical marvel! Jokes apart, mild warning symptoms can sometimes stretch out, but continuous severe pain is usually something else like bad acidity or a pulled muscle. Still, go see a doc so you can sleep peacefully tonight.
