Can heart attack pain be on right side?

A few times, I've felt a sharp pain on the right side of my chest, and it scares me. Isn't heart attack pain usually on the left side? Can heart attack pain sometimes occur on the right side of the chest?

Actually, it can happen, yaar. Most people think it only hurts on the left side, but right-side discomfort or neck and jaw pain is also possible. Don't take any chances with chest discomfort and get it checked by a doc immediately.

My uncle went through this last year and his pain was mostly on the right side and center of his chest. We thought it was just acidity, but luckily we took him to the clinic in time. Please don't ignore it if you or someone else is feeling uneasy right now.

At my age, every small ache feels like a major health crisis, but yes, heart pain isn't always polite enough to stay on the left side. It can definitely spread to the right side or back. If you are having heavy sweating or breathlessness with it, please rush to a hospital.

Stay calm and keep your mind peaceful, but do not ignore what your body is trying to tell you. While we pray for your good health, remember that cardiac discomfort can manifest on the right side too. Take care of yourself and let a medical expert do a quick checkup today.

My cardiologist explicitly told me that cardiac pain can radiate anywhere from the jaw down to the upper abdomen, including the right side. It is called referred pain and happens because of shared nerve pathways. If you have shortness of breath or nausea along with it, please seek emergency medical care.

Look, don't sit and waste time analyzing if the pain is left or right. Heart issues don't follow a strict map and can hurt on the right side too. If you are feeling heavy in the chest, sweaty, or breathless, stop reading this and go straight to the nearest clinic.

I totally understand how terrifying it is to sit and google these symptoms when your heart is racing. Yes, pain can radiate to the right shoulder or arm during a cardiac event, which makes the anxiety worse. Please save yourself the mental stress and visit an ER to get an ECG done.

I made the massive mistake of ignoring a dull ache on my right side thinking it was a muscle pull from the gym, and it turned out to be a minor blockage. Please learn from my stupidity. If the discomfort is deep and making you feel weak, get an ECG done immediately.

Yes, absolutely. The textbook symptom of left-side chest pain doesn't apply to everyone, especially women and diabetics who often show unusual symptoms. If there is chest heaviness, breathing trouble, or dizziness, drop everything and go to a hospital right now.

Managing high blood pressure has taught me that we cannot predict how our heart behaves. Pain can indeed show up on the right side of your chest or neck. If you have BP issues or diabetes, you need to be twice as careful and consult your doctor whenever such symptoms occur.
