Can headache cause heart attack?

I've been getting quite severe headaches lately, and my uncle recently had a heart attack which made me very worried. I'm anxious if there's any connection and if a bad headache could somehow be a precursor or cause for a heart attack.

No, a standard headache does not cause a heart attack. However, severe stress or high blood pressure can trigger both symptoms simultaneously. It is always wise to get regular checkups and consult your doctor if you experience sudden, unusual head or chest pain.

A simple headache itself won't cause a heart attack, so please don't worry too much. But if the headache is accompanied by chest tightness, breathing issues, or dizziness, you must go to the emergency room immediately. Take care.

From what I know, a headache is generally not a cause or a direct sign of a heart attack. But our bodies are complex, and sudden, severe symptoms should never be ignored. If you feel very unwell, please contact a doctor instead of trying to self-diagnose.

Physiologically, a headache won't trigger a heart attack. However, extreme high blood pressure (hypertensive crisis) can cause a severe headache and also put your heart at risk. If you have a BP monitor, check your levels, and seek emergency medical help if they are dangerously high.

Don't stress! A normal headache is usually just from tension, lack of sleep, or dehydration and won't harm your heart. Just drink some water, rest in a dark room, and you'll feel better soon.

I suffer from severe migraines, and while they make me feel absolutely miserable and nauseous, they have never affected my heart. However, if your headache feels completely different or is accompanied by chest discomfort, please see a medical professional immediately.
