Can gonorrhea give you a fever?

My friend told me about some STD symptoms she heard about, and it got me thinking. If someone has gonorrhea, can it give them a fever too?

Yes, a fever is a common sign that your immune system is responding to the bacterial infection. While you must take the proper antibiotics prescribed by a doctor, try to eat light, easily digestible vegetarian food like khichdi and drink plenty of warm water to support your body's recovery.

Yes, it can cause a fever, especially if the infection is spreading to other parts of the reproductive tract. This is a bacterial issue, so it won't go away on its own. Please see a doctor right away to get the correct course of antibiotics before it leads to any complications.

Please learn from my mistake and don't ignore this. I once ignored a mild fever and minor discomfort thinking it was just a normal viral flu, and the infection got much worse because of the delay. Get yourself checked by a specialist immediately to stay safe.

Hey, don't stress too much, it is actually a very treatable thing! Yes, a fever can happen when your body is fighting it off. Just book a quick appointment with a doctor, get the right meds, and you will be back to normal in no time. Take care!

If you have a fever with other symptoms, please don't sit at home. Go to a reliable local clinic and get a proper diagnosis. It is a very common infection and easily cured with standard medical treatment, so don't delay it or waste money on self-medication.

I was actually reading up on this because a friend of mine is showing similar symptoms. Apparently, a fever is indeed a possible sign of this infection, especially if it starts spreading. It's really best to encourage them to get tested quickly to be absolutely sure.
