Can glp1 cause kidney problems?

My doctor suggested GLP-1 for my blood sugar control, but I am worried about the long-term effects on my organs, especially my kidneys. Is there a risk? Can GLP-1 cause kidney problems?

I completely understand how worrying it is to think about kidney problems, health anxiety can make everything feel so stressful. While GLP-1 is usually safe, severe dehydration from nausea can sometimes strain the kidneys. Talking to your doctor can really help clear up your fears.

I know how overwhelming it is to balance your diabetes care while constantly worrying about organ damage. It's really hard emotionally. Just know that staying hydrated is key with GLP-1, and your doctor is there to monitor your kidney health.

Beta, bade doctor sahab se pooch kar hi yeh sab dawa lena chahiye. Kidney ka mamla bada hota hai, isme laparvahi thik nahi. Aap khub paani pijiye aur doctor se ek baar jaroor baat kar lijiye.

Yes, there is a risk of kidney issues if you suffer from severe vomiting and dehydration while taking GLP-1. It is always best to be cautious and get a renal function test done to ensure your kidneys are working perfectly fine.

When my son started GLP-1, our pediatrician made sure to check his kidney function first. Dehydration from the initial nausea can be hard on the kidneys, so I always make sure he drinks plenty of water. Please consult your doctor for proper monitoring.
