Can glp 1 cause kidney stones?

I started taking GLP-1 medication about a year ago, and recently, I've had symptoms that suggest kidney stones. I'm wondering if there's any connection. Can GLP-1 cause kidney stones?

Sometimes GLP-1 causes mild dehydration due to nausea, which can increase the risk of stones. Drink lots of warm water and fresh lemon juice to keep hydrated. But if you have severe back pain, see a doctor immediately.

Managing kidney health is very important, especially if you have high BP like me. If you are on GLP-1, make sure to drink at least 3 liters of water daily and get your kidney tests done regularly to avoid any issues.

While there is no direct link, dehydration from GLP-1 side effects can definitely lead to kidney stone formation. It is highly recommended to get a kidney function test and talk to your doctor for safety.

I was researching this because my friend started GLP-1. Apparently, since it makes you feel less thirsty, people don't drink enough water, which can trigger stones. So keeping hydrated seems to be super important.

Oh, I have to constantly remind myself to drink water since GLP-1 completely killed my cravings! If you get dehydrated, kidney stones can easily form. So keep sipping water throughout the day, guys!

Beta, modern medications can be dry for the body. You should drink tender coconut water and barley water to keep your kidneys clean. Make sure to consult your doctor if you feel any burning sensation.

Haan na, dehydration se kidney stones ho sakte hain. GLP-1 lete waqt paani bohot peena chahiye, varna problem hogi. Ek baar doctor se mil kar check-up karva lo, safe rahoge.
