Can glaucoma cause pain in eyes?

My eye doctor told me that I have glaucoma, and sometimes my eyes feel very painful and strained. I thought glaucoma didn't cause pain. Can glaucoma actually cause pain in the eyes?

Glaucoma can sometimes cause a very sharp pressure and pain in the eyes, which is not something we can treat at home. Do not put any random rosewater or home drops in your eyes for this. Go to an eye specialist immediately.

Yes, it can, and you must be very careful. My uncle ignored mild eye pain and headache, thinking it was just stress, but it was actually high eye pressure from glaucoma. Please visit an ophthalmologist immediately to check your eye pressure.

Listen, if you are having sudden eye pain with glaucoma, stop reading stuff on your phone and go to an eye hospital right now. Acute glaucoma can cause severe pain and it is a medical emergency. Don't take any risk with your eyesight.

Usually, simple eye strain can be managed by resting your eyes or using cold compresses. But glaucoma pain is a serious issue that natural remedies cannot fix. You must consult an eye specialist immediately for proper medical eye drops.

While regular exercise is great for overall health, it won't cure glaucoma pain. Certain heavy weightlifting exercises can actually increase eye pressure. If you are experiencing pain, you need to see a doctor immediately to manage it safely.

Yes, pressure buildup in glaucoma can cause deep pain. Just like how I have to get my thyroid checked regularly, eye pressure needs constant monitoring. Please go for your regular eye checkups and follow your doctor's advice strictly.

Oh god, eye pain always scares me so much because we only have one pair of eyes. Yes, glaucoma can cause severe, sudden pain if the pressure spikes up. Please don't wait, just go to a doctor to get it checked so you can feel relieved.
