Can gingivitis cause tooth pain?

My gums bleed quite often when I brush, and I suspect I have gingivitis. Now, one of my teeth has started aching. Is it possible that gingivitis can cause tooth pain?

Yes, absolutely! When your gums are swollen, they pull away and make the teeth super sensitive and painful 😬. Just get a quick dental cleanup done and you will feel so much better! 👍

Yes, the pain can radiate to your teeth when gums are weak. Keep your spirits high and don't let the pain stress you out. Take some time to visit a good dentist and let the healing process begin.

Yes it does, and if you have high blood sugar like me, gum infections can get worse very quickly. Make sure to keep your sugar in check and avoid sweet foods. Get a proper checkup from a dentist to clean the plaque.

My dentist explained that gingivitis causes gum recession over time. This exposes the sensitive dentin layer of your teeth, which directly leads to that sharp pain when you eat or drink. It is best to get a scaling done before it turns into periodontitis.

I totally understand how scary tooth pain can feel, I used to panic thinking I'd lose my teeth. But honestly, it's just the swollen gums making everything sensitive. A simple dental checkup will put your mind at ease, don't worry.
