Can gastritis cause back pain?

I've recently been diagnosed with chronic gastritis, and alongside the stomach issues, I've also started having a dull ache in my upper back. I never had this back pain before. Is it possible for gastritis to cause referred back pain?

Yes, I logged my meals and pain patterns on my tracker and noticed a clear link between acid reflux and upper back discomfort. Gastric inflammation can radiate pressure to your back. However, if the back pain is sudden or limits your movement, definitely get a clinical checkup.

Haan, acid reflux and gastritis can cause a burning feeling that reaches the upper back. Drinking cold milk or coconut water usually calms my stomach down quickly. But please, if the pain is severe or you feel breathless, don't wait at home, go see a doctor.

At this age, my stomach and back seem to be partners in crime; gastritis definitely triggers my back pain! It's usually just referred pain from gastric irritation. But if it's very sharp or doesn't go away, we must get a doctor to check it out.

Honestly, staying up late with my baby causes terrible acidity and then my back starts aching out of nowhere. It's a lovely double bonanza. Just eat some bland food and try to sleep, but obviously see a doctor if it feels like something worse.

Haan babu, pet ki garmi aur gas se peeth me dard ho jata hai, humare yahan sab jante hain. Thoda thanda paani piyo aur halka khana khao, aaram milega. Par agar dard bohot tez ho, toh doctor babu ko dikhane me deri mat karna.

I totally get it, it is so frustrating when stomach issues start making your back hurt too. It makes you feel completely exhausted. Please take it easy, rest up, and definitely visit a doctor if the pain is getting too intense to manage.

Yes, inflammation in the stomach lining can cause referred pain in the thoracic spine area. Keeping your meals clean and avoiding heavy spices before workouts helps keep gastritis under control. Just ensure it's not a posture issue; if it persists, getting a doctor's advice is the best move.
