Can gases cause stomach pain?

Lately, I've been feeling these uncomfortable cramps and pain in my stomach, and I also notice a lot of bloating and burping. My mother says it's just 'gas'. Can gases really be the cause of stomach pain, or is it something else?

Yes, gas pain is very common due to our sitting jobs and quick, irregular meals. Taking short walking breaks and drinking warm water usually resolves it quickly during work hours. But if the stomach pain is sharp and constant, please see a doctor instead of self-medicating.

It certainly can, but please be careful. I once ignored severe stomach pain thinking it was just gas, but it turned out to be a gallbladder infection. If the pain is intense, radiates, or stays for hours, please go to a hospital immediately.

Haan bhai, gas se bahut bura pet dard ho sakta hai, achanak se marod uthta hai. But directly bol raha hoon—agar dard bohot zyada hai, ya vomiting ho rahi hai, toh gas bolke baithe mat raho. Doctor ke paas jao aur checkup karao.

Absolutely, my stomach turns into a brass band if I eat chole bhature these days! Trapped gas can cause real, sharp cramps. If it goes away after a walk, great, otherwise our body is telling us to go see a doctor.

I used to ignore severe stomach pain by calling it 'normal gas' and taking antacids, until it turned into a severe ulcer issue. Do not make the same mistake I did. If you get frequent or intense stomach pain, please get it checked by a proper gastroenterologist.

Yes, it can cause very scary cramps. Last week I panicked thinking I had some major infection because my stomach hurt so much, but a short walk and passing gas solved it. Don't worry too much, just eat light and give it a bit of time.

Yes, gas can cause significant stomach pain. For diabetics, slow stomach emptying can sometimes cause bloating and pain, so we must watch our diet carefully. Make sure to consult your doctor to ensure your digestion is on track.

Oh absolutely, it can hurt so bad that you just want to curl up in bed. Whenever it happens to me, drinking warm peppermint or ginger tea helps soothe my stomach. Just take rest and eat light, simple meals for a day.
