Can gas pain make your back hurt?

I often get severe gas, especially after eating certain fried foods, and it feels like it spreads to my back. My wife thinks I'm making it up, but when my stomach is bloated, my lower back really aches. Can gas pain actually make your back hurt?

Yeah bro, it happens to me all the time after eating heavy paneer or fast food. The pressure builds up in my stomach and my lower back starts aching like crazy. It goes away once I walk around or take warm water, so don't stress too much.

Oh yes, your digestive tract has a weird way of sending its complaints to your back! Sometimes I feel like my spine is acting up, but then a loud burp fixes it. Just watch out, if the back pain doesn't go away or feels like a muscle tear, a doctor's visit is needed.

I actually panicked so badly last month thinking I had slipped a disc because my lower back was throbbing. Turns out it was just extreme bloating from sleeping right after dinner. Once I realized it, I relaxed, drank warm water, and the pain faded away.

Yes, gas can pressure the nerves and cause back pain, but my mind always jumps to kidney stones or spine issues. If you are like me and worrying constantly, please just consult a doctor. Getting a professional opinion is the only way to quiet the anxiety.

Definitely, poor digestion and sitting all day can cause trapped gas that mimics lower back tightness. Keeping your core active and drinking enough water really helps clear out bloating. Just make sure it is not a gym injury; if the pain is sharp during movement, see a physio.

Haan, it happens when stomach pressure is high. I usually take a warm bath or apply a hot water bag to my back, which works wonders. But please remember, if the pain is severe or you feel dizzy, skip the home remedies and consult a doctor immediately.
