Can gas lead to chest pain?

I've occasionally felt a tightness and some pain in my chest, especially after eating out or having something rich. My family says it's probably just gas and acidity. Can excessive gas actually lead to noticeable pain in the chest area?

Yes, eating heavy vegetarian foods like rajma or chole late at night can cause severe gas that pushes up and leads to chest pain. I always advise people to keep their dinners light and finish eating at least two hours before sleeping to avoid this.

Haan beta, jab pet me acidity aur gas badh jaati hai na, toh wo upar ki taraf chadh ke seene me dard karti hai. Thoda gunguna paani piyo aur tahlna shuru karo, aaram milega. Agar dard na kam ho toh doctor ko zaroor dikha lena.

I was reading up on this and apparently, when the stomach bloats, it physically pushes against the diaphragm and nearby nerves, which is why it feels like chest pain. It's crazy how connected our body parts are!

Yes, absolutely! Trapped gas can easily mimic a sharp pinch in the chest. Drinking warm fennel (saunf) water works wonders to release that painful pressure. Take care and stay happy!

Bro, yes! It is the classic 'am I dying or did I just eat too much?' moment. Most of the time it is just gas. Just walk a bit, let out a couple of loud burps, and you will be completely fine, haha.
