Can gas cause extreme abdominal pain?

I've been experiencing really extreme abdominal pain lately, so bad that it sometimes makes me double over. People keep saying it's probably just gas, but can gas really cause such severe pain?

Actually yaar, trapped gas can cause super sharp, cramping pain that literally makes you double over. I once panicked and thought it was appendicitis, but it was just heavy gas. But if the pain is totally unbearable, don't take a chance and just see a doc.

I can only speak from my own experience. Last month, I had such extreme stomach pain that I couldn't even stand up straight, and it turned out to be severe bloating from eating outside food. After taking a warm hot water bag and resting, it slowly cleared up, but it was really scary.

Trapped gas can indeed cause agonizing pain that feels like a medical emergency. What works for me is walking around slowly instead of lying down, and drinking hot ginger water. If it is just gas, you will feel relief within an hour of moving around.

My son had such bad stomach pain last week that he was crying, and we were so worried. We gave him some warm pudina water and made him walk, which helped pass the gas. But as a parent, I say if the pain is severe and doesn't reduce, please take them to a pediatrician immediately.

Haan babu, gas ka dard bahut bhayanak ho sakta hai, pet ko ekdum jakad leta hai. Aap thoda gunguna pani pijiye aur aaram kariye. Agar dard bahut jada hai aur thik nahi ho raha, toh turant doctor sahab ko dikha lijiye, laparvahi nahi karni chahiye.

Extreme abdominal pain should never be self-treated as simple gas. It could be due to stones, infection, or appendicitis. Please go to a clinic or hospital to get a proper physical checkup instead of waiting for it to pass.

I get really severe abdominal pain and bloating due to my PCOS digestion issues, and sometimes it feels quite extreme. But since extreme pain can also point to other internal issues, please don't just rely on gas remedies if the pain is constant and intense. Take care.
