Can gas cause abdomen pain?

Sometimes I get really sharp pains in my stomach, and I'm not sure what it is. My mother always says it's just gas. Can simple gas actually cause such intense abdomen pain?

Haan, bilkul ho sakta hai na! Sometimes gas gets trapped in the bends of your intestine and it causes really sharp, shooting pain in the stomach. Drink some warm water and try to walk a bit, it usually clears out the trapped gas easily.

Haan na, gas can cause really bad stomach pain, sometimes you feel like it's something serious. If it is simple gas, taking a little bit of warm water with hing after food helps. But if the pain is too severe, then don't ignore it, ho na.

Yes, gas can definitely cause sudden discomfort in the abdomen. My grandmother always suggests drinking warm jeera water, which does bring some relief. However, if the pain doesn't subside or feels very sharp, it is always best to consult a doctor to rule out other issues.

Bro, yes! Especially after eating hostel mess food or spicy street snacks, I get this crazy sharp pain in my upper abdomen. It's usually just trapped gas. Skipping carbonated drinks for a couple of days usually fixes it for me.

Oh absolutely, gas can make you feel like a balloon ready to burst! The pain can make you double over, but once you let out a loud burp, you suddenly feel like a new person. Just avoid those heavy chole bhature for a day.

I totally get it, that sharp squeezing pain in the stomach can be so scary and painful. Sometimes we think it's a major illness when it's actually just stubborn gas bubbles. Try resting on your left side or taking a warm bath to help your stomach muscles relax.

While gas is a very common cause of abdominal pain, you should never assume it's just gas if the pain is severe, constant, or accompanied by vomiting or fever. It is always safer to get a proper checkup from a physician to be absolutely sure.
