Can gallstones cause chest pain?

I've been getting these strange chest pains, and after some tests, doctors haven't found anything wrong with my heart. My neighbor suggested it could be gallstones. Is it possible for gallstones to cause pain in the chest area?

Oh my god, yes, it can! I panicked so much thinking it was a heart attack because the pain radiated right up to my chest and shoulder. If the pain is very severe, please don't take any chances and get it checked by a doctor immediately to be absolutely safe.

I literally rushed to the ER last year thinking I was having a cardiac arrest, but it turned out to be a gallstone attack. The pain can travel upwards and feel exactly like chest pressure. It is a very common symptom, but since chest pain is involved, always get an ECG done first to rule out cardiac issues.

Ah, the classic 'is it a heart attack or just my gallbladder?' drama! Yes, gallstone pain can totally shoot up to your chest and make you write your will. Don't worry, it is usually just referred pain, but definitely let a doc check you out so you can sleep peacefully.

My gastroenterologist explained that the nerves supplying the gallbladder also travel near the chest and shoulder, which is why the pain is referred there. However, because chest pain can be a sign of a medical emergency like a heart issue, you must visit a doctor or emergency room right away to get a proper diagnosis.

I didn't know gallstones could cause pain all the way in the chest, that sounds really scary. Does this pain usually happen only after eating oily food, or can it start anytime? If anyone has experienced this, please let me know. I hope you feel better soon.
