Can gallbladder pain be on the left side?

I've been experiencing sharp pains on my left side, which is unusual for what I know about gallbladder issues. Someone told me it could still be gallbladder-related. Is it possible for gallbladder pain to radiate to the left side?

Beta, gallbladder toh hamare dahine (right) taraf hota hai, isiliye dard bhi vahin hota hai. Agar aapko bayein (left) taraf dard ho raha hai, toh yeh gas ya kuch aur ho sakta hai. Aap turant doctor babu ko dikha lo.

Gallbladder pain is typically on the upper right side, but sometimes referred pain or gastric issues can feel like it's on the left. Don't waste time trying to guess the location. Just book an ultrasound this weekend to know for sure.

Honestly, I had weird pains all over my upper stomach, sometimes even on the left, before my gallbladder stones were diagnosed. Sometimes heavy gas makes the pain radiate strangely. Definitely check with your doctor to be safe.

At my age, I know that any sudden abdominal pain should be taken seriously. While the gallbladder is on the right, left side pain could be related to your stomach or heart, so check your BP and visit a doctor immediately.

Usually, the pain is on the right side under the ribs. If it's on the left, drinking some warm fennel water might help if it's just gas, but don't ignore it if the pain persists. Please consult a doctor for a proper checkup.

I visited a reputed hospital for my gallbladder treatment, and the doctors confirmed that true gallbladder pain is on the right. If you feel it on the left, you should get a proper diagnosis at a good clinic to rule out other issues.
