Can gallbladder pain be caused by stress?
I've been under a lot of stress these days, and I've noticed my gallbladder pain seems to worsen during those times. Is there any chance that stress can actually trigger or even cause gallbladder pain?

I just got my gallbladder removed two months ago and honestly, my doctor told me that stress can trigger spasms in the digestive tract, making gallbladder pain much worse. If you are already having stones, heavy stress can definitely set off an attack.
I always overthink my symptoms, and when I was highly stressed during exams, my upper right stomach would hurt so bad. I read that stress affects bile flow, which can trigger gallbladder issues. Please get an ultrasound done so you don't keep worrying like me.
While stress itself doesn't create gallstones, it definitely can cause gut motility issues and worsen existing gallbladder spasms. Practicing meditation can help manage stress, but you still need a proper scan to check for stones.
Don't just blame stress and sit at home, thinking everything is psychological. Gallbladder pain is usually due to actual stones or inflammation, which can become dangerous. Go get a proper scan done instead of reading theories online.
