Can gallbladder cause high liver enzymes?

My recent health check-up results showed elevated liver enzymes, which has me a bit concerned. The doctor mentioned my gallbladder might be a factor, so I'm wondering if a problem with it can actually cause the liver enzyme levels to go up.

Yes, it can. My doctor explained that when gallbladder stones block the common bile duct, the back pressure causes SGOT and SGPT levels to rise significantly. You should definitely get a Liver Function Test (LFT) and consult a specialist.

Since I have thyroid, I get routine blood tests done and have seen how one organ imbalance affects another. Gallbladder issues can definitely stress the liver out. Keep monitoring your blood levels and stay in touch with your doctor.

Oh man, my liver enzymes went up because my gallbladder was acting up from all the butter chicken cravings! You really have to go easy on oil when this happens. Better get tested and see what the doctor says.

Please be very careful with this. I had a gallbladder stone block my bile duct, which led to a severe liver infection and very high enzyme levels. Do not ignore this, get a professional doctor's opinion immediately.

Hey, don't stress too much about the high numbers right now. It is quite common for the gallbladder to cause liver fluctuations because they are next-door neighbors. Just get it checked by a doctor and you'll be fine!

Absolutely, an inflamed gallbladder can cause your liver markers to spike. While working out is great, you need to focus on a low-fat diet to reduce liver strain right now. Let a doctor evaluate your blood work first.

Yes, they are closely linked. While you recover, some light walking can help with digestion and overall metabolic health, provided your doctor permits it. Get a clear clinical diagnosis done first.
