Can gallbladder cause chest pain?

I've had some episodes of chest pain recently, and my heart tests came back clear. But the pain still recurs sometimes, especially after a heavy meal. My doctor briefly mentioned that gall bladder problems can sometimes mimic chest pain. Can the gall bladder really cause discomfort in the chest area?

Oh my god, yes! I felt a sharp pain in my lower chest and panicked thinking it was a heart issue. Did anyone else here feel chest discomfort before they found out it was gallbladder? It is so scary.

I totally get it, experiencing pain near your chest can be extremely frightening. Gallbladder pain often mimics chest pain due to severe gas and reflux. Please get it checked by a doctor to rule out anything serious and put your mind at ease.

At 55, every small pain feels like a direct call from above! My gallbladder gas once shot straight up to my chest and had me writing my will. Thankfully, it was just stones, but chest pain should always be checked by a doctor first.

I completely understand the anxiety you must be feeling right now. I spent nights crying, thinking my heart was failing, only to find out it was a gallbladder attack radiating upward. Please know you are not alone, and seeing a doctor will help relieve this heavy stress.

This is actually a very common phenomenon known as referred pain, where gallbladder inflammation feels like chest pain. However, because chest pain can be a sign of a cardiac emergency, you must get it evaluated by a doctor immediately to be safe.
