Can gabapentin cause cancer?

My doctor prescribed gabapentin for my chronic nerve pain, and I've been on it for a few months. I usually check side effects online, and I saw some worrying articles. Can long-term use of gabapentin increase the risk of cancer?

Nahi babu, aisa darr dil me mat rakho. Humare parichay me ek babuji saalon se ye dawa le rahe hain aur unko aisi koi pareshani nahi hui. Phir bhi darr lage toh bade hospital ke doctor babu se baat kar lo.

While chemical medicines can sometimes have side effects, gabapentin is not known to cause cancer. I always prefer natural herbs and yoga to manage minor nerve pains when possible. But for serious chronic issues, please trust your specialist's treatment plan.

I can only speak from my own journey of taking Gabapentin for nerve pain for over three years. I have had standard blood tests and scans done every year, and everything has been normal. I suggest consulting your own doctor for peace of mind.

I totally get it, reading about side effects of long-term medicines can make us really anxious and scared. But medically, there is no strong evidence linking gabapentin directly to cancer in humans. Try to discuss your fears with your physician for reassurance.

I have been managing my high BP for fifteen years and have taken many complex medicines. Gabapentin has not been proven to cause cancer in clinical trials. It is always best to focus on a healthy lifestyle and get your routine checkups done regularly.

Don't worry at all! Gabapentin is widely prescribed and has been tested for safety over many years. It is highly unlikely to cause cancer. Just follow your doctor's dosage and stay positive! ✨
