Can fibroids cause leg pain?

My legs sometimes ache, especially my thighs, and I can't quite figure out the reason. I also have fibroids. I was wondering if there's any connection and if fibroids can cause leg pain.

Yes, if the fibroids are large, they can press against the nerves in your pelvis that go down your legs, causing pain. If your doctor clears you, try some gentle stretching or light evening walks to keep the blood circulation going. Avoid heavy leg workouts when it hurts.

I have been feeling this constant heavy ache in my thighs and calves lately, and my ultrasound showed fibroids. Has anyone else experienced this kind of radiating leg pain? It is starting to make me really anxious and I keep wondering if they are connected.

Yes, pelvic pressure from fibroids can definitely manifest as discomfort down the legs. Practicing gentle pranayama and restorative yoga poses like Supta Baddha Konasana with bolster support really helped relieve that pelvic congestion for me. Please do it under proper guidance.

Yes, it is possible due to nerve pressure in the pelvic area. For a simple practical solution, try keeping a pillow under your knees when you sleep to relieve pressure on your lower back and legs. A warm bath before sleeping also helps soothe the aching muscles.

My wife had this issue and at first we thought she was just tired from managing the household! Turns out her fibroids were pressing on some nerves and sending pain signals all the way down to her knees. These fibroids really find the most creative ways to trouble us.

I totally get it, that radiating leg pain makes even standing in the kitchen so difficult. My cousin went through the same thing and felt so miserable until she got it diagnosed. Please don't suffer in silence, take rest and talk to your gynecologist soon.
