Can fennel seeds cause cancer?

We always eat a spoonful of saunf after meals at home for digestion, and it's a common practice in our family. Recently, I heard something vague about fennel seeds potentially causing cancer if taken regularly. Is there any truth to this worry?

No, there is no scientific evidence that eating fennel seeds (saunf) in normal food quantities causes cancer. In fact, they are rich in antioxidants and help with digestion. Just have them in normal amounts like we always do.

No, they don't. I take a small amount of roasted saunf without sugar after meals to help my digestion, as recommended by my doctor. Just avoid the sugar-coated ones you get in restaurants.

Fennel seeds are nature's gift for cooling the digestive fire. They actually have anti-inflammatory properties that support overall cellular health. Enjoy your saunf water in the morning without any fear.

Beta, we have been eating saunf as a mouth freshener for generations. It is very good for digestion and soothing the stomach. It does not cause cancer, but like everything, eat it in moderation.

Oh, I was a bit scared because I eat a spoon of saunf after every meal. Is there a maximum amount of fennel seeds we should eat in a day to stay safe?

I have been eating a handful of saunf daily for the last 40 years, beta. My health is perfectly fine. Don't worry about these internet rumors, saunf is very safe and good for health.
