Can fatigue cause fever?

Lately, extreme stress and being overworked have left me constantly tired. Today, a slight fever also popped up. Could just being very fatigued make my body temperature go up like this?

Usually, extreme physical fatigue shouldn't cause a fever, but overworking your body can lower your immunity and make you catch an infection easily. Rest completely right now. Avoid heavy gym workouts or runs until your body temperature is fully normal and your doctor clears you.

Sometimes when the body is very tired, you can feel hot and exhausted, but a real fever is usually due to some infection. You can drink warm ginger-tulsi tea and rest. But if the fever is high or persistent, please don't rely on home remedies and see a doctor.

Don't stress too much, buddy. Sometimes when we are extremely exhausted from work, our body feels a bit warm like a 'tiredness fever'. Just take a paracetamol if needed, drink lots of water, and get a good 8 hours of sleep. If it doesn't go away by tomorrow, do check with a doc.

Our bodies have a funny way of protesting when we don't give them rest, almost like an angry boss! A mild warm feeling can happen from pure exhaustion, but if you're actually burning up, there might be a bug. Go sleep and let your doctor handle it if it persists!

Honestly, with my sleep schedule, I always feel tired, but a proper fever usually means your body is fighting off an actual virus or infection. Don't ignore it thinking it's just tiredness. Go get some proper sleep and visit a doctor if the fever stays.
