Can eye strain cause migraine headaches?

Working on the computer for nearly 9-10 hours every day is my routine, and lately, terrible headaches, sometimes like proper migraines, have started. Could this constant eye strain from the screen be triggering these severe headaches?

Look, if you are staring at a screen for 10 hours daily without wearing your prescribed glasses, your head is obviously going to throb. Eye strain is a major trigger for migraines. Go get your eyes tested first, and limit your screen time.

Bro, honestly, yes. I used to get crazy migraines after playing games on my laptop all night. Once I got my power checked and started wearing blue light glasses, the headaches stopped almost completely. Definitely get your eyes checked.

For me, eye strain has always been a big trigger for my migraine attacks. Whenever I work too long on my phone without taking breaks, I feel that sharp pain starting behind my eyes. Taking regular breaks and sitting in a dark room really helps me recover.

Yes, our eyes are very sensitive and straining them can disturb our peace and cause severe headaches. Try to sit quietly, close your eyes for 10 minutes, and practice some gentle breathing. Take care of yourself and let your body heal naturally alongside seeing a doctor.

It definitely can. Instead of spending thousands on expensive migraine specialists right away, I'd suggest getting a basic eye test done at a local optical shop first, which is usually free or very cheap. If your power is fine, then you can plan a visit to a neurologist.
