Can eye cancer kill you?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with some eye problem, and he looks very worried. I just saw an article online about eye cancer, and it made me quite scared. Just wondering if this is a very serious type of cancer, doc?

I am so sorry to read this, but I think any cancer can be dangerous if it spreads to other parts of the body. Actually, does anyone here know what are the early signs we should watch out for? Pls let me know if anyone has gone through this.

Please do not search for treatments or survival rates on random websites, it will only give u massive anxiety. Such serious conditions need proper tests and expert advice from an oncologist. Go to a reputed eye hospital and get a professional opinion instead of reading online forums.

Bro, my uncle had a tumor in his eye a few years back and we all got super scared. Thankfully, they caught it early and did some radiation, and he is doing perfectly fine now. So yeah, it can be fatal if ignored, but treatments work wonders if u go to the doctor on time.

Yes, if it is left untreated, eye cancer can definitely become life-threatening as it can spread further. But with early diagnosis and modern treatments, many people recover really well. Please don't panic and ensure the patient consults an ocular oncologist immediately for the right guidance.

Please do not make the mistake of waiting or ignoring any changes in your vision. I once ignored a persistent shadow in my eye thinking it was just strain, and it turned out to be a serious issue that took months to fix. If there is even a small doubt about eye cancer, get a biopsy or specialist checkup done immediately.
