Can extreme cold/hot weather cause flare ups in psoriatic arthritis?

I have psoriatic arthritis, and I've started noticing that my joint pain and skin issues seem to worsen with certain weather changes. Can extreme cold or hot weather cause flare-ups in psoriatic arthritis patients?

Weather shifts can definitely affect joint pressure and skin symptoms. However, please consult your rheumatologist to see if your current medications need a slight adjustment during these seasonal changes.

I totally get it, the sudden drop in temperature makes the joints so stiff and painful to move. Try keeping yourself warm with thermal wear and see if light stretching helps ease the discomfort.

I notice a clear pattern in my joint pain when the humidity levels drop. Tracking your daily symptoms alongside the local weather forecast can help you plan your workouts and self-care beforehand.

Our bodies are deeply connected to nature's seasons, so shifts can naturally bring some discomfort. Stay positive, keep your mind calm with meditation, and let your body rest during these transitional phases.

Yes, extreme weather changes can be very harsh on the joints. Take good care of yourself, stay warm, and don't hesitate to take rest when you need it.

During peak cold, keeping the joints warm with simple hot water fermentation can bring great relief. Drinking warm ginger water also helps keep the body warm, but continue taking your prescribed medicines properly.

Honestly, the dry winter in Delhi makes my skin flare up like crazy and makes my joints feel super stiff. I just blast the heater and use a heavy moisturizer to get through the coldest months.

Haan na, the monsoon humidity and winter cold always increase the pain so much. Actually, taking warm baths and using a good moisturizer really helps comfort both the skin and joints during dry weather.
